We send the news letter 4 times a year as you know.
The Autumn News Letter pleasantly surprised us: all three artwork we promoted there were acquired by our dearest customers after this letter. This means for us that even in such strange times as now, people need art and even decide to support artists.
We wish all of us to find in ourselves the ability to stay in harmony with ourselves and with the world. And do the best that is possible here and now.
Thank you for reading.
Thank you for collecting our art.
Thank you for support.
With best wishes from Prague
I made this composition in gratitude to my friend, who gave us a week of cloudless and absolute happiness in France this summer.
✒️With some paintings, it happens: they wait a long time in the wings. From this, a good painting only acquires strength and energy, and the weaker one, as it were, closes. And its energy seems to go where it came from.
This wonderful, light, joyful Girl has been waiting for almost ten years for its personal human been to come. That is, while we had a gallery, a lot of people, seeing it, wanted to buy it, but for some reason did not dare.
📖Perhaps this is because it had a twin painting. In a mirror image, in pink tones. They were conceived as a couple. But the Pink Sister was bought to Australia almost immediately, and this Lime one was delayed. For a long time.
It was bought yesterday.
We are very happy for both: for the painting and for the happy new owner of the painting.
We have many beautiful things for you on here.
This story about the painting is amusing itself.
The comment on the gallery page in Insta makes it even more interesting:
"As the owner of the Pink Sister (!!!) pleasing to learn her other half has found a home."
This is, of course, a question.
On the one hand, flickering and an abundance of additional photographs distract from the actual work.
On the other hand, a painting is, in a sense, an object, and here it is already important what surface, scale in the interior, there is a frame or not, and there are many other details. How to show all this in order to support the viewer in his intention to purchase a painting?
During the 15 years of our gallery's existence in an old, poorly adapted space in the center of Prague, it seems to me that we have learned to "show" paintings. But online?
So,you have to think.
Here are some of the presentation photos to share with you:
1. Painting in the interior, next to a chair, wardrobe or table.
2. Framed painting, if any.
3. Painting on a working easel.
4. Painting at an angle to show the side and surface.
5. A fragment of the work
6. Painting on the wall
🍾🍭🙏Dear friends, art lovers and customers,
it is so great you follow us.
We do thank you for your kind support. It means for us you support our art , so we love and appreciate pretty close things in this life. Also it means that we as artists can continuer to create artworks and make plans.
The 2019 brought us а new experience: after closing our gallery at Jilska22, Prague1 which served us for 15 years we moved our gallery work online. We managed this! Not only our loyal customers and collectors bought paintings and prints online but new people came to us. They have purchased art online and also visited our studio in Prague. This is fantastic!
Thank you once again for your trust and support.
We wish you a wonderful happy New Year 2020!
LIVE WITH ART, IT'S GOOD FOR YOU!

It’s such a pleasure to get a photo with my artwork in its new place from the collector on the morning !
Dear Svetlana Kurmaz,
Thanks very much. We visited your gallery five years ago, when you were still in Staré Mesto, and bought a print of “Sunny Day” then, which is framed and in our dining room. “Travel Notes” will grace her office, I think. And I look forward to buying more work, perhaps an original, some day. Looking at “Sunny Day” gives us great pleasure. Thank you for sharing your talent. 🇱🇷
