Body line as a landscape.
A young woman in a navy blue swimsuit drying up after bathing rests relaxedly napping on the beach.
The summer deep cloudless sky, the water's edge, pink hot sand and a white blanket reminiscent of sea foam maintain an atmosphere of calm and serenity.
Here, as in many of my paintings, the influence of the style of the 30s is noticeable: a clear line, local color relationships, even the character and clothes of the model remind that time.
This painting was painted with a light touch of the brush, while maintaining the drawing with a charcoal pencil.
