Artist’s Description:
This artwork was done during the period of my interest at the art with more decorative character: the painting as a detail of interior design. First I painted my favourite summer mallow flowers in a more realistic manner, and then I wanted to repeat this theme in the style of art deco. The color of magnesia of flowers, incredibly saturated for our latitudes, I placed on a bright green background and covered it with glaze Mars yellow. This gave an extra depth and glow to the color. The rhythm of the black dots in the middle of the flowers makes this work even more decorative and able to bring freshness and fun note to the house in which they love color and lightness. The artwork is painted by brush in several layers with attention to detail.
