MODEL ( sketch)

Some sketches from the models were made, and then I decided to perform them in different materials and mediums. Each material requires its own design and style. I like how charcoal pencil behaves on canvas and I do such artwork from time to time. I prepare the canvas in advance, covering it with specially prepared oil paint, similar to the color of the old drawing on paper. I use solvent when working with charcoal pencil, which allows me to refine the drawing and bring it to a pure line in an artistic sense. For this subject, in which a woman sits bending legs and leaning on her left hand, I took a elongated format of a canvas that fits well with the movement of the model.
