Original Art on Canvas with Art Deco touch.
Mussini oil paints on linen canvas painting with Two Birds in the Sky.
I enjoy watching birds and giving them human characters and qualities. There are artworks of sparrows, magpies, titmice, starlings, gulls, swans ... and now robins. Such a simple and elegant shape and such a pink-orange plumage of the breast and a cheerful character they have!
Perhaps because I painted this artwork in winter, I thought about spring and depicted this lovely couple of robins this cute couple sitting on thin branches of a tree with floating clouds behind them.
Here, as in many of my paintings, the influence of the style of the 30s is noticeable: a clear line, local color relationships, even the character of a «model» remind that time, which I feel very close to me both in spirit and in design.
The artwork was painted with a brush in several layers.
